Chuck Hornung was born in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and was raised on a country farm among the history of the original frontier west. Following collage and military
service, Chuck began a cornucopian life as a college instructor, syndicated radio-TV personality, a Boy Scout executive, an investigative journalist, a public relations executive, a program advocate for special needs children, a special investigator, a director of emergency operations,
and a regional crises center director. Now retired, Chuck is an award-winning author finishing his eleventh book.
Eric Erdman works and lives in Washington State. He is a descendant of Nicholas Earp, the father of Newton, James, Virgil, Wyatt, Morgan and Warren Earp.
Tonya Erdman is married to Eric Erdman, she also lives and works in Washington State.
Gil Storms holds a PhD in English. He is the author of two award-winning books on Arizona history--"Reconnaissance in Sonora"; and "Raphael Pumpelly's Arizona"; His articles have appeared in The Journal of Arizona History, The Wild West History Association Journal, Desert Tracks, and The Border Vidette. He has spoken at the Arizona History Convention, the Tombstone Territory Rendezvous, and the Tucson Festival of Books. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Tombstone
Territory Rendezvous and Sheriff of the Adobe Corral of the Westerners (Tucson).
Mark Workman is a Retired US Air Force SMSGT, he holds an MBA from The University of Phoenix, and a BA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical. Mark currently works as a Maintenance Supervisor for Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande, Arizona. Mark has close ties to Tombstone and is a Tombstone High School 1993 Graduate.
Anne Bloomer is a former Protective Services social worker, elementary school teacher and math textbook author. She moved to Arizona two years ago and become fascinated with Tombstone and its history.
VJ Hornung attended Murray State University where she met Chuck. They moved to New Mexico where she finished her education as a Lobo and became a mom. With the kids
grown, she added a paying job to her public service volunteering. VJ soon became a state leader in public education. She retired, after 35 years of service, as a senior state certified educational administrative assistant. She “ran” the office of the famous “Friday Nights Light” high school.
Bob holds a BA in History from Pennsylvania State University, a JD from University of Pittsburg School of
Law and an MA in History from the University of Arizona. He has presented numerous papers at the Arizona Historical Convention and at the Tombstone Territory Rendezvous. He has published several articles in the “Journal of Arizona History” and numerous articles in popular western magazines such as
“Real West” and “Wild West”. He spent the last 26 years of his law practice before retirement representing Indian tribes and tribal organizations.
